Hello Maplephiles,

The only movie I watched this week is Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules. This was a mellow Friday night activity with the Little Projectionist at the helm of the remote control. After a strong IPA, it was not half bad. It was like watching the Disney channel in extended format. My favorite thing about the movie is the Mom played by Rachael Harris. She is memorable for her role as Stu’s girlfriend in The Hangover.

The Little Projectionist dyed his hair a light shade of blue. He has been talking about this for quite some time, and he finally followed through. I don’t know what his fascination is with coloring himself, but if you consider how many people get tattoos, I guess it’s normal. The bright side is it should be out of his system before he interviews for a job. Unless of course he is trying out for the circus or stage show of Trolls.

This week, we are lucky enough to get The Zookeeper’s Wife. The studio is only taking a limited amount of runs, and we are happy to be included. People really came out to see Personal Shopper, so we decided to give it one more week. The Riviera and Palladium are going to open Boss Baby and Ghost in The Shell. Who would have guessed when Scarlett Johannsen broke out for her role in Lost in Translation that she would become an action hero?

Secret Cinema is tomorrow night with no hoopla. Just a couple of previews and a classic 2 hour and 30-minute movie. No one has guessed the title yet, so I will give you another clue. The music in the film covers 4 decades and was carefully placed in every scene by the director.

Now your moment of Zen
