Hello Maplephiles,

I was looking for something to watch last night. I had no interest in seeing HBO’s Leaving Neverland and for some reason The Matrix popped into my head. I forgot how mind blowing that movie was in 1999. I can’t believe it was 20 years ago and that the directors never really matched the genius of this film. Even more amazing is that they are now sisters instead of brothers.

The Little Projectionist has a sister who he cares about as much as spinach. He was gone for the weekend skiing, and when he came home, you would have thought saying hello was a chore. I am now experiencing push back on anything I ask of him. That is, of course, unless YouTube is involved.

This week we are opening a documentary that is “a masterful appreciation of man’s greatest feat.” Apollo 11 will illustrate what was happening in 1969 and how the event united the entire planet.  The Wedding Guest opens next week and Gloria Bell will open on March 22.

Secret Cinema: Old Hollywood on Thursday is presented by Chris Guyor. While there is not a lot of eating in this film, you may, after the 2 hours, be hungry for pretzels, salsa, popcorn, or chocolate.

(“Now your moment of Zen”)
