Hello Maplephiles,

I hope everyone enjoyed It’s A Mad Mad World last week at Secret Cinema. What a crazy cast of comedians all in one film. While I don’t condone talking during a movie, it was fun to listen to people state the names of the cast as they appeared. This evening we get another Old Hollywood classic film that I think you will love.

I need to find something new to write about in this paragraph. I have not figured it out yet, but feel free to let me know what is worthy of your attention. Maybe Politics? Not a chance.

This weekend we open Brittany Runs a Marathon. As a recovering marathon runner, I am very excited to see this movie. Running is one of the great sources of joy…and pain in my life. I am curious to see which one I am reminded of when I see the movie.

Secret Cinema: Old Hollywood is tonight. Sorry about the “under the wire” newsletter, but the film is a 1950’s drama. It is not rated and a bit under 2 hours long. The writer and the director of the film is the same famous guy. Here is the clue that will allow you crazy researchers to discover the title: the movie has a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

(“Now your moment of Zen”)
