Otis is nothing like his father Ben, the respected patriarch of the farm, or Miles, the wise old mule. He is especially unconcerned about keeping the animals' humanlike talents a secret. But when suddenly put in the position of responsibility around the barnyard, the "udderly" irresponsible cow must find the courage and the confidence to be a leader.
